TV is bully for the character (LCD) and price. The flick is bright, good contrast, and selfsame smooth. The menu/remote are identical comfortable…overall the movie is identical nice. Aesthetically, the TV appears nifty equally well…no cheesy features or decorations. This is my foremost LG production and I'm selfsame pleased with this set. Likewise added the wireless adapter ($70). The entire setup and interface are selfsame intuitive. This is a nestlings TV and they received Netflix down in no time (even the 5 twelvemonth old). My only wish would be a backlit remote control.

Only complaint at completely is with shipping. It did not ship on time and there was no communication from the LG 42LD550 shipping company. Ultimately, I received to contact the shipper to make an appointment (was stated that they would contact me). Once I prognosticated them, they drove it over the future daylight (Saturday). All in all, still selfsame pleased.
